BTA to join Tourism Alliance

The Business Travel Association will join the Tourism Alliance for 2024 joining over 70 Tourism Alliance members consisting of trade associations, member bodies and destination management organisations.

The Tourism Alliance is the umbrella trade association for the whole of the visitor economy.

It ensures strong links between the UK Government, Parliament and the travel and tourism industry and aims to bring the sector together to discuss and debate policy, and to represent it with one voice.

Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA, said: “We’re honoured to be joining forces with the Tourism Alliance as part of our mission to amplify our voice and redefine industry standards. Uniting with the Tourism Alliance is more than a collaboration; it is a dynamic platform to broadcast our message louder and further.”

Richard Toomer, Executive Director of the Tourism Alliance said: “The business travel industry is crucial to the economy and we are pleased to bolster our representation of this part of the travel and tourism sector through this addition to our membership.

“We look forward to working closely with BTA in ensuring its voice is heard in all our internal policy deliberations and our outward facing engagement with decision-makers at all levels.”
