The Business Travel Association has signed up travel risk management experts, the TRIP Group, as its latest industry partner.
The Travel Risk & Incident Prevention (TRIP) Group specialises in travel risk management, providing travel safety and security insights and delivering educational events, consultancy and training courses, focussing on those operating or travelling overseas.
The two associations will work together to improve members’ risk awareness and “methodically resolve the challenges faced by international business travel, collaborating on a range of joint ventures such as events and industry meetings”.
The TRIP Group is the first risk management provider to partner with the BTA.
Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA, said: “In today’s ever-changing travel landscape, ensuring the safety and security of business travellers is paramount. This partnership represents a significant step forward in providing our members with the expertise and resources needed to navigate risks effectively and confidently.
“Together with the TRIP Group, we are committed to setting new benchmarks for travel risk management, ensuring our members are well-prepared for any challenges they may face.”
Lloyd Figgins, CEO of the TRIP Group, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the BTA, whose renowned commitment to business travel across the UK and the world is one we greatly respect.
“This alliance is an opportunity to help improve travel safety and security and protect business travellers. We are excited to work together with the BTA to strengthen the safety of our collective community, and to prepare the industry for current and future challenges on both a local and global scale.”
