Brussels Airlines reconnects with Bristol

Brussels Airlines will relaunch services between Bristol and Brussels this autumn, routes that were previously operated by its defunct partner airline Flybmi.

It will fly five times a week between the cities from the start of September before increasing to 12 flights a week from October 27.

The airline says the route supports both point-to-point traffic and considerable numbers of passengers connecting with its onward network.

Flights will be operated with a CRJ900 by CityJet on behalf of Brussels Airlines.

Belgium’s national carrier flies to more than 100 destinations including 23 cities in Africa.

Earlier this year the airline unveiled completely new cabins for its business class, premium economy and economy class products on its long-haul fleet.

It is spending €10million per aircraft installing the new product, with the first new-look A320s having taken to the skies in April.
