British Airways will increase flights to long-haul destinations from London Gatwick and Heathrow ahead of next summer.
BA has confirmed Bangkok will begin operating year-round flights from London Gatwick. The route was previously a winter-only schedule.
In the summer of 2026, services to and from Bangkok will operate three times a week with six weekly flights during the winter season. That represents almost 60,000 additional seats on flights to Thailand’s capital.
The expansion of the codeshare partnership with Bangkok Airways means customers can connect to destinations including Phuket and Phnom Penh.
An additional weekly service to Kingston, Jamaica, from London Gatwick has been announced. That means British Airways will fly four flights a week during the summer season of 2026.
A double-daily service from London Heathrow to Miami International Airport will be reintroduced. Additionally, the airline will reintroduce daily flights to Dallas-Fort Worth.
The airline has also increased services from Heathrow to Las Vegas from 10 to 13 flights a week. Additionally, both San Diego and Austin will have 14 flights a week.
Flights to New York (JFK) will operate exclusively from London Heathrow. There will be nine BA flights from Heathrow to New York, the addition being on its 777-200 fleet with First and Club Suite (long-haul business class) cabins.
A daily service will operate from Heathrow to Bahrain, more than doubling the number of flights each week.
The frequency of flights to Saudi Arabia will be boosted too. Five flights a week will operate to Jeddah and 14 to Riyadh. Doha, in Qatar, will also have 14 flights a week.
