British Airways will operate a record number of flights from London to airports in the US, Canada and Mexico in the summer of 2025.
From London Heathrow, BA will double Miami services to 14 flights a week.
In addition to introducing a twice-daily service year-round, the airline will be opening a new lounge in Miami in 2025.
An extra six flights a week will be added to Austin, Texas, bringing the total to 13 services each week.
An extra three flights a week during peak months of the summer season will be added to the Las Vegas route, bringing the weekly total to 10.
The route to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will increase from six to seven flights a week, becoming a daily service for the first time since its introduction.
Washington D.C. will receive a total of 21 flights each week, an increase of seven flights a week.
The frequency of flights between London Gatwick and Cancun in Mexico will be increased from six to seven a week, becoming a daily service next summer.
During the summer peak, Vancouver will receive up to 14 British Airways flights a week fromHeathrow, an increase of up to seven flights each week. Coupled with the airline’s daily flight from Gatwick, travellers can choose from three flights a day between June and September.

Over the past decade, British Airways has launched six new routes to cities across the US, including Austin in 2014, New Orleans in 2016, Nashville in 2018, Pittsburgh in 2019, Portland, Oregon, in 2022, and Cincinnati in 2023.
Elsewhere, BA has announced new destinations for its winter 2024 and summer 2025 seasons and the increased frequency of services to Delhi and Florence.
For the Winter 2024 season, its direct route from Gatwick to Bangkok will return on October 28, operating three times each week to Thailand’s capital. The service will increase to up to five times a week between January and March 2025.
New services to the Malaysian city of Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia will begin operating in November 2024 and continue into the summer 2025 season. There will also be increased frequency on the route to Saudi Arabia’s capital city, Riyadh.
A third daily flight to the Indian city of Delhi in the summer of 2025 brings the total number of flights to India to 63 a week across five destinations.
A second daily flight has been added from Heathrow to Florence.
