Blockskye launches payment platform with airline partner

Blockskye has unveiled B360, a payment platform linking consumer loyalty cards with business travel management with United Airlines as the launch supplier.

It claims B360 will enable corporations to allow consumer credit cards for business travel payments without compromising reporting or duty of care standards.

The platform provides corporations with their own loyalty programme, incentivising travellers to earn the benefits of their preferred form of payment in exchange for selecting suppliers that align with their company’s cost or sustainability goals.

“We are pleased that Blockskye has continued its innovation in corporate travel by bringing the benefits of United Mileage-Plus to more business travellers in a manner that also benefits corporate buyers,” said Doreen Burse, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for United Airlines.

Brook Armstrong, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Blockskye, added: “Building on the successful deployment of BlockskyeMAX with our launch client, B360 has now become Blockskye’s second payment platform for the corporate travel marketplace. We are excited to demonstrate to more customers how Blockskye’s technology can drive millions of dollars in savings for large enterprise travel programmes.”

Blockskye leverages blockchain technology to simplify corporate travel, delivering cost savings and operational efficiencies for global enterprises.
