Travel insurance provider battleface has launched a new customisable travel insurance product designed to meet the specific needs of the business travel market.
The new product is targeted at organisations with travelling employees and contractors across all business sectors, including corporate, NGOs, educational Institutions and more.
It covers destinations worldwide, including those with a government travel warning in place.
Policy limits can be altered depending on the trip, allowing organisations to remove unnecessary cover and tailor benefits to match their specific travel requirements.
Standard policy benefits include up to £10 million in medical and evacuation expenses, supported by battleface’s own emergency travel, medical and claims assistance services.
Battleface can also offer benefits for trip cancellation, curtailment, delay, personal liability, baggage, personal security and Covid-19 medical expenses.
Policies also include ‘search & rescue’ services with cover for up to £25,000 as well as a ‘hijack, kidnap and detention’ inclusion that will pay for expenses incurred by crisis response services, plus up to £50,000 for legal expenses.
In addition, ‘holiday & leisure’ benefits for holiday trips, with up to 60 days per trip, can be included in the policy as required.
Roger Perry, Senior Travel Underwriter, said: “In today’s world, ‘one-size-fits-all’ products designed years ago simply do not work. With business travel in its fast recovery phase, we are delighted to be launching a flexible policy specifically developed to meet the needs of today’s travellers across a wide range of business sectors.”
