BA ups South Africa and US flight frequency

British Airways is adding more flights to some of its most popular destinations in the US and South Africa for the spring period.

The airline will add an extra daily flight to its current twice-daily service between London Heathrow and Miami from 1 April, and to Seattle from 1 May 2020. Both new services will run until the end of May and may be subject to change.

As well as the new US flights, BA will increase its services from London Heathrow to the South African city of Cape Town by three flights a week, upping its current twice-daily service between 30 March and 19 April 2020.

British Airways’ Director of Network and Alliances, Neil Chernoff, says: “We know that these destinations in the US and Africa are highly sought after, particularly during Spring, so we are pleased to be able to offer more flights to these destinations.”

British Airways recently announced that it would be increasing services next winter from London Gatwick to Cape Town, the Caribbean island of St Lucia and the Mexican Riviera city of Cancun.

The airline will also be launching six new European routes starting from July between London Heathrow to Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Montenegro and Turkey.
