Award win for The Business Travel Magazine

The Business Travel Magazine has been named Trade Publication of the Year – Print award at the Travel Media Awards 2023. This marks the second year in a row that the magazine has won the accolade.

“To win this award for the second year running is fantastic and I am so proud of what the team has achieved,” said Bev Fearis, Editor of The Business Travel Magazine.

“These prestigious awards attract entries from publications across the whole travel industry so it’s great to be representing the business travel sector, which can sometimes be overlooked.”

Announced on Monday October 23 2023 at an awards ceremony hosted at The Savoy in London, The Business Travel Magazine‘s team was in attendance and thrilled to see the magazine recognised in front of over 300 UK travel media representatives.

In 2021, the website thebusinesstravelmag.com was voted Best Trade Publication Online.

“Like many media companies, we are investing heavily in our digital content but remain committed to our print publications, which we know are still highly valued by our readers,” Bev added.

“The day after the awards ceremony, we met with the teams from our sister publications Selling Travel and Onboard Hospitality (also finalists in this year’s Travel Media Awards) to discuss how to take all of our products into 2024 and beyond and we have some exciting innovations planned, so watch this space.”

According to the awards organisers, Travega, one of the judges described The Business Travel Magazine as a “packed publication covering all aspects of the business travel industry and addressing the key issues facing the industry through a number of different communication channels”.

The judge continued: “Serious topics are broken down to be easily digestible and quickly identify what is means to the business travel audience.

“New innovative features showcase new entrants to the industry and a broad range of industry interviews ensure the business travel magazine is highly engaging and relevant to specialists in this field.”
