Ana Cristiano James, former Global Lead of Travel for Flutter Entertainment, has joined Diebold Nixdorf as Global Principal Category Manager – Travel & Expense.

Starting on October 12, she will have global responsibility for Travel & Expense, working with teams based across the US, Germany, Mexico, Poland and India.

One of her first priorities will be the continued global rollout of Navan at the company’s travel and expense management company.

“But the opportunity goes much further than technology, looking across the entire T&E ecosystem, from strategy and suppliers to traveller experience, compliance, processes and efficiencies,” said Cristiano James.

“I’ll have the autonomy to really get under the skin of the programme and help shape what comes next. For someone who loves the complexity of global travel, different markets and cultures, that scale was a huge attraction for me.

“After leading global travel at Flutter Entertainment, I’m excited to take everything I’ve learned into this next chapter, broaden my remit across both Travel & Expenses, and get stuck into a genuinely global transformation. I love a challenge, I love transformation and I definitely love putting my own stamp on things, so this feels like a fantastic next chapter.”
