Rachel Tonge has been promoted at American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) to the role of UK Vice President and General Manager.
She will report to Jason Geall, EMEA Senior Vice President and General Manager, and will be responsible for overseeing the return of business travel in the UK.
Tonge has worked for GBT for five years, most recently as the TMC’s Director of Strategic Transformation.
An announcement said she played a key role in the acquisition and integration of Egencia, refreshing GBT’s go-to-market strategy, and leading the development of GBT Partner Solutions.

Alongside her background in business management at GBT Tonge has management consulting experience at Accenture and has worked across multiple industries, including travel, energy and international development.
