American Express Global Business Travel has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s new procurement framework RM6217 for provision of a booking solution and specialist needs.
Following a full tender evaluation, GBT was ranked first for Lot 3, which will be available to central government departments and the wider public sector.
The solution includes the provision of air, rail, hotel and ground transportation, crisis management services such as emergency group accommodation, repatriation and medical evacuation, plus passenger tracking support.
The service will be delivered through GBT’s Government proprietary technology solution that allows data to be stored in the UK, as well as via dedicated offline consultants.
