Air China to resume Heathrow flights

Air China has unveiled restart dates for its services from London Heathrow following the relaxation of Covid restrictions to and from China.

It will resume its direct flights from London Heathrow to Chengdu Tianfu on March 30.

The route will operate three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, departing London at 20:25 and landing in Chengdu at 13:55 the following day.

From 23 May, the days will switch to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Air China will resume Beijing flights on April 1, operating four-times-weekly on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, departing London at 1220 and landing in Beijing at 0515+ local time. From 14 April, this service will go daily.

Meanwhile, on March 26 ShenZhen airlines will restart its direct flight from Heathrow to Shenzhen Bao’an, formerly Shenzhen Huangtian, in the Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.

Flight will operate five times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, departing London at 2205 and landing in SZX at 1745+ local time.
