The Advantage Travel Partnership has partnered with mobility solutions platform Jyrney to launch the Advantage Mobility Hub.
The initiative will allow TMC members to offer mobility as a service and will launch with the initial facility to book on-demand and pre-bookable cars with drivers.
In co-operation with Advantage preferred partners, Carey and Sixt Ride, the new platform will enable members to search and book the consortium’s private hire, taxi and chauffeur-drive partners on a single, integrated booking platform.
The Advantage Travel Partnership branded Mobility Hub brings together the fleets from partners Carey and Sixt Ride but also the local taxi and chauffeur content available from the Jyrney network, as a broader platform of content to access.
Sonia Michaels, Head of Advantage Global Business Travel Services and Events, said: “Through the creation of The Advantage Mobility Hub, all members will have the ability of using one single platform to book and manage their clients’ car with driver requirements.
“Booking through the Hub also has the benefit of enhancing clients’ duty of care requirement and supporting travel policy compliance. Our goal is to expand services offered on the Hub to include other modes of ground transport and provide choice for the end traveller.”
Jyrney CEO Daniel Price CEO added: “The fragmented nature of the ground transport industry has impacted its take up within the travel industry. Working with The Advantage Travel Partnership to deliver the Mobility Hub helps Jyrney to progress its goal to better connect travel companies and the taxi operators. We look forward to working with Advantage members to explore the huge opportunities a more seamless first and last mile solution presents.”
