The Advantage Travel Partnership has signed partnerships for its member TMCS with three tech providers – Tripism, mTrip and Procon Solutions.
The Tripism platform gives a dedicated travel portal for TMCs to communicate all aspects of the corporate travel programme to clients, consolidating information from travel teams, suppliers, partners and travellers into a single source.
Adam Kerr, CEO and Co-Founder Tripism, said: “As travel programmes become increasingly sophisticated, the Tripism platform dynamically updates relevant travel information, including policy guidelines, supplier updates, and employee experiences to offer a unique value proposition for TMCs, to effectively communicate these services to travellers through a single portal.”
The new partnership with mTrip gives Advantage agents the option to have white-label mobile applications to deliver offline personalised itineraries enriched with travel guides, interactive maps, real-time flight alerts, integrated travel documents, and itinerary sharing.
Procon Solution will provide TMC members with cloud-based mid and back-office solutions to automate key processes such as invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting, helping members reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase overall efficiency.
Stephen Baxendale, Technology Partnerships Manager for The Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We’re continuing to build on our technology journey to help members service every element of their operations. Front-end and back-end – we committed to supplying services as members seek to find new ways of enhancing the corporate services they offer.”
The partnerships were announced as Advantage unveiled a new brand, vision, mission and digital platform at its annual conference in Malta.
Andrea Caulfield-Smith, Managing Director of Global Business Travel, said technology was key to the consortium’s renewed vision.
She identified key travel tech developments in the future for corporate travel, including jetset hacking, fintech, immersive travel and digital twins.
Jetset hacking allows travellers to conduct their business while on the move, whether in a car, plane or train.
Fintech will help simplify and streamline the payment processes within the travel eco-system, Caulfield-Smith told the conference audience.
Immersive travel, using VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), and MR (Mixed Reality), will help prepare travellers for their trips, perhaps by recreating the airport experience or letting them take a tour of a hotel before booking.
“This will be particularly useful for neurodivergent travellers or those with accessibility needs,” she said.
“We are talking to potential partners to bring solutions in each of these areas to our members.”
