Details have been confirmed for the first in-person International Travel Management Company (ITMC) Summit later this year, co-hosted by The Advantage Global Network and Florida-based Hickory Global Partners.
The event will take place at the Hilton Marina Fort Lauderdale hotel from October 9-11 October 2022.
The summit is open to global independent TMCs and expects to attract over 100 attendees from all corners of the world, alongside supplier partners.
It will include two days of dedicated conference sessions in addition to networking opportunities for delegates joining from TMCs and travel providers from all over the world.
It will be the first in-person global ITMC event the two businesses will host following two successful ITMC virtual events during the pandemic.
Diverse and engaging content will be centred around the customer, duty of care, and cost management.
Delegates will also take part in a supplier networking session called ‘Global Connections’, discovering new products and services, and discussing how to work closer with supplier partners through a series of short explorative meetings.
A dedicated ‘Tech village’ will also host supplier partners who specialise in technology targeted to improving TMCs client proposition.
Making the most of the conference location, attendees will be treated to a Gala dinner offsite at a local oceanside restaurant and enjoy opportunities to network with their counterparts from the TMCs attending.
John Hobbs-Hurrell, Head of The Advantage Global Network, said: “The aspiration of the ITMC Summit is to provide an environment in which entrepreneurial and innovation can thrive for independent TMCs irrespective of their affiliation.
“This year’s event will offer something different to other major travel events who often structure their content around the objectives of mega brand agencies. Our focus is on TMC agencies who provide a bespoke service to SME customers, and our summit will cater specifically to those types of businesses.”
Michael White Managing Director, Global Sales & Membership Engagement, Hickory Global Partners, said: “With so many geopolitical factors shaping the TMC and corporate travel space, the need to come together and collaborate has become vital.
“As industry leaders, the need to innovate and leverage your strengths is critical for long-term survival. We have assembled a detailed interactive program that will provide you with strategies, tools, and the ability to tap into experts that can shape your future successes.
