Account wins for Diversity Travel

By Bev Fearis, published 30/09/20

Diversity Travel has won the travel management contracts of York St John University, The University of Sheffield and The Donkey Sanctuary, an animal welfare and rescue charity.

“While travel is largely suspended, a number of organisations are taking the time to review their travel programme, to be ready for when travel restarts” said Steve Summers, Director of Sales and Marketing.

“In some cases this means addressing areas that didn’t work so well for them during the first lockdown and for some it ultimately means a change of supplier.

“The pandemic demonstrated the value of using a travel management company, to support travellers in a dynamic situation, endorse travel policy control, and manage the commercial challenge of cancellations and refunds. I am delighted that our consistent focus on service, even when revenue stopped, is now paying some reward to our hard-working staff.”

The academic and humanitarian specialist, which has offices in Manchester, London and Washington DC, has recently appointed Stu Booy as Customer Service Director and Russ Ferguson as Senior Vice President, Americas.
