This year’s Business Travel People Awards ceremony will now be a seated three-course dinner thanks to the generous support of sponsors and a significant rise in guest numbers.
The event, which takes place on September 13, has almost reached maximum capacity at the venue – the auditorium at the Leonardo Royal London City Hotel.
Initially guests were going to be served bowl food after the awards presentation. This format was introduced last year amid Covid health and safety measures.
But for 2022, after welcome drinks in the hotel’s gallery, the prestigious awards will be presented during a three-course seated meal.
“We cannot thank our 11 sponsors enough for the incredible support they’ve given us this year, which has allowed us to ‘upgrade’ our awards ceremony to a seated meal,” said Kirsty Hicks, Publisher of The Business Travel Magazine and organiser of the awards.
“Our decision was also prompted by the number of tickets sold. It’s fantastic to see that so many people will be joining our finalists and winners to celebrate their success.
“We can’t wait to see you all there for what promises to be an extra special night for our industry.”
Sponsors of the 2022 Business Travel People Awards are: Agiito, Focus Travel Partnership, FREENOW For Business, HotelHub, United Airlines, ATPI, Sirius Talent Solutions, Virgin Atlantic, Delta, TripStax and Reed & Mackay.
