SACO takes first steps in Europe
SACO’s first property outside the UK is now taking bookings as the Wittenberg aparthotel in Amsterdam prepares for a November opening.
The boutique property is located on the eastern side of the city, in the tranquil Plantage district, and overlooks the Nieuwe Keizersgracht Canal.
The restored 18th century building has 115 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments catering for guests staying a week or more.
Amenities include a 24/7 reception and free wifi, and there are a number of indoor and outdoor spaces including two cobbled courtyards.
“The launch of the Wittenberg marks a new chapter for SACO as we continue our impressive pace of growth in recent years, but now do so in new markets,” says Stephen Hanton, CEO of SACO.
“Amsterdam is a strategically important location, and that is why we chose it as our first location in mainland Europe.
“We wanted to set the bar high with our first property outside the UK. By combining our 20 years of expertise and with an incredible location and property, we believe the Wittenberg will be a true home for many business and leisure travellers in the years ahead.”
SACO has opened four properties in the last year – including two Locke aparthotels – and confirmed new properties in Manchester, Dublin and Cambridge.
