Waldorf Astoria, Cavalieri, Rome

THE HOTEL: Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2013, this luxury five-star resort sits atop one of Rome’s seven hills (Monte Mario) with stunning views of the ‘Eternal City’ below. Appropriate for CEO level employees, it has been a Waldorf Astoria since the mid 2000s and offers 370 rooms/suites. The Rome Cavalieri is situated in a 15-acre private park in a residential area of Rome overlooking the city (the historic centre is 5km away). Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumincino Airport is 35km (22 miles) from the Cavalieri.
